Our Story

OnSemble is a business unit of Passageways, a SaaS provider of software that inspires and enables teams to do their best work. For nearly twenty years, Passageways’ OnSemble business unit has delivered world-class intranet solutions to midsize consumer services organizations.

It started in 2003, at a business school competition at Purdue University, Paroon Chadha and his business partner had a simple idea: a secure collaboration portal that connected people, ideas, and projects throughout a company. That idea didn’t go unnoticed. Purdue Federal Credit Union not only wanted the product, but they also wanted to invest — to get this new company off the ground. And with that as seed capital, OnSemble was born. 

We’ve never been accused of thinking small. Throughout this journey, OnSemble has continued to bring culture to life, help people do their best work, and enable organizations to accomplish their goals.

Thomas Millay

General Manager

Thomas Millay leads the OnSemble Business Unit. He comes to Passageways with over 25 years of management experience in B2B software including senior executive roles at venture capital, private equity and public software companies including Healthx, WebLink, Consona, Sterling Software and Texas Instruments Software.

Sarah Steele

Sarah Steele

Product & Education Manager

Sarah Steele is happy to serve as both Product Manager and Education Manager for OnSemble. Her experience on our Customer Success team uniquely positions her with a deep understanding of OnSemble. She also has a nearly two-decade history of adult training and financial services management.  Sarah’s blended approach to training and curriculum development that incorporates proven adult learning principles with effective use of available resources (as well as a healthy dose of humor and analogies!) helps make her a valuable addition to the Leadership Team.

Adam Dian

Adam Dian

Manager, Engineering

Adam Dian leads the OnSemble Engineering Team. He joined Passageways in 2015 and currently has over a decade of experience in software development including the healthcare and animal genetics industries.

He currently leads, manages and oversees the technical direction of the OnSemble Product. He has a background in computer graphics, legacy systems and data management. Adam has a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

John Miller

John Miller

Sales Manager

John Miller leads OnSemble Sales. He joined Passageways in 2012 with 17 years of in-depth customer service experience across multiple industries. During his time with OnSemble, he implemented and helped support over 300 organizations in his roles in Customer Experience before moving to Sales in 2018. Since then, he has helped over 125 organizations solve their communication and collaboration challenges.

Stephanie Scott

Stephanie Scott

Vice President, Customer Experience

Stephanie Scott leads the Customer Experience team at OnSemble. She joined OnSemble in 2007 with 13 years of customer service experience in multiple business sectors including legal and financial services. She now serves as Vice President leading customer success and account growth across our customer base.Since joining OnSemble, she has worked with customers to implement over 300 portals and strategic projects. Stephanie has a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University.

Josh Gurley

Manager, Technical Support

Josh Gurley leads OnSemble Technical Support department. He comes to Passageways with  8 years of web and business development experience in digital marketing where he helped over 500 small businesses grow and make the most out of their digital presence. He now uses those skills to help customers overcome technical obstacles to get the most out of their OnSemble portals.
